Dodge Viper ACR 2016

The Dodge Viper ACR 2016 has just been announced and it seems like it will be a beast. It is almost un-American as it only has 5hp more over the stock Viper and focuses all on suspension and aero tuning. Very rare to hear from a US company. It has the same 8.4-liter V10 engine of other models of the Viper, which can generate 645 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque, along with a six-speed manual transmission. This tune is a little faster than that due to game limitations, but close enough. Just like Dodge did I kept this replica tune as stock as possible and tried to focus on getting it around the track with suspension alone. I have tested it vs the stock Viper and average 6 seconds faster around the track. Pretty impressive considering it barely has more power. It also looks killer. The real one has the signature ACR stripes, but that isn’t possible in GT6 so I went with full carbon hood and double stripes. Close enough and still looks badass. I listed the parts I used to create the exact same one in the parts section below. If you would like to use it for 600pp races just lower the power a little. It also works well with sports or racing tires.

    Wow, you were quick to make this one, lol. In GT5 my super tuned ACR was my fastest road car. This one has immense balance although fully tuned its a bit underwhelming. Thanks for your ACR tune!

    Not to be rude or anything but flat floors actually kill acceleration idk how but it really makes the car slower its not really noticeable but in drag racing i could cost a 9second car .300seconds

        it is said to make it more aerodynamic but i dont see how it creates downforce when its underneath the car, maybe it creates “upforce” lol

    Which test tracks do you use for your race tunes?

    • Depends how I’m feeling that day, but usually a medium track with light bumps, a straight, and a variety of turns. Then a longer track with a really long straight. If it works pretty good at both it should work well almost everywhere.

        • Ya basically. I don’t do ssrx because it’s too long. Only real courses.

    If you add a supercharger, a sports ECU, a triple plate clutch, a carbon prop shaft and racing tires, as well as the other mods, the car becomes great to drive. It has plenty of acceleration on the straights, and the handling is not affected at all.

    • This is a replica tune meaning it has to have these exact specs, but yes, it becomes awesome with more power too

        I boosted it to full power, and it handled the exact same as this tune here. I would recommend making another tune of this with the car fully tuned. It makes a wicked race day machine
