I am excited, I have long since abandoned GT6 when I got a PS4 and I am dying for a new good racing sim. Project CARS let me down with buggy controls and DriveClub is alright, but lacks so much. This car list is small, and I’m hoping it won’t be a full price title. But I still want it 🙂

    • The list so far is only based off cars seen in the trailer. They haven’t mentioned any cars, but I’d imagine it will be a lot more.

    • Hugo Stiglitz

LOL buggy controls? Nope. Are you using a controller? The controls are kind of bad with a controller on pCars but there’s nothing buggy about it. Just poorly setup that’s all.

You can change the settings though. I recommend these settings

steering deadzone- 8 steering sensitivity- 0 throttle DZ- 10 throttle sens.- 0 brake DZ- 10 Brake sens.- 0 Speed Sensitivity- 65 Controller filtering- 100 Then Advanced options ON with soft steering dampening set to OFF, and visual wheel filtering to ON. also the last one set to OFF as well

  • Vinyl Scratch

    The only thing I regret is that I’m going to have to leave my old steering wheel and get a new one for PS4 compatibility ;-;

    • I definitely agree with that. I think steering wheel companies basically forced Sony to stop support on old wheels so they can sell new ones. There really isn’t any reason the old ones can’t work still.

      • Hugo Stiglitz

Only Logitech. the old Thrustmasters work with some sims but Logitech literally made it so only the new G27 for an extra $150 but without a gear shifter, errrr, I mean the G29 would be the only one that would work.

        I recommend Thrustmaster T150 or T300

    • Hassan Khalil

You don’t really need to get rid of your old/current steering wheel, you can get an adaptor which allows you to use your old/current steering wheel on current gen consoles. Plenty of guides on websites and YouTube to help you out

      • Vinyl Scratch

…I never knew that. I’ll look into it. Thanks! 😀

        • Hugo Stiglitz

Don’t bother. You won’t have force feedback with those adapters. And unless you have a bungee chord wheel, it’ll be just a horrible experience compared to what you had on PS3.

          • Vinyl Scratch

Figured, I had a feeling. Good to know anyways

      • Hugo Stiglitz

It won’t have force feedback so in other words those adapters are totally pointless.

All it’ll have is rumble. That’s a joke if you’re trying to drive a simulator

  • SgtStig

Finally got a PS4 and I can look at this list without remorse!

    • Lol good to hear. Hopefully more cars are released that I can add to it.

      • SgtStig

You probably already know this, but Polyphony says there are 137 total

        • I did not know that, but I am happy to learn it won’t take me forever to add more cars to this list lol

          • SgtStig

Haha good point. Are you planning on p,aging Assetto Corsa by any chance?

          • It’s possible, but not at this time.

  • Ricardo

thats all? time to sell my ps4 and buy xbox one s

    • Game isn’t out yet, so these are just what we know right now

  • Missak Kechichian

Whyyyy from Grand turismo day 1 they don’t include bmw e21 323i. E30 e36 e46 m3 mercedes clk black series… we don’t want fuckin gt3 cars we need to enjoy driving ordinary cars not gt3 I’m not interested to drive a gt3 car

    • I have no idea. There are so many amazing cars that are always left out.

  • Nate Silver

not a large selection is it?

    • It says in the description this is only the currently known cars. There are definitely more coming, but these are the confirmed ones so far. I add more all the time.

  • Vito Belas

Looks good so far, hope they will add more cars.

    • Like you said, so far it isn’t bad, but I’m pretty sure there will be a lot more cars too

  • Carlos Henrique (Bynha)

    No Porche yet?????

    • Nothing has been announced yet

    • Carl Sprenssen

No PORCHE…. but we have Porsche:

      In the list above:

      Porsche 911 GT3 RS ’16

      Porsche 911 RSR (991)

      Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport

      Porsche 919 Hybrid (Porsche Team)

  • Rahul Thomas

https://youtu.be/kwsRTknBMjU I hope you like it! It has a lot of cars

  • Nate Silver

i have another request. Ferrari 330 P4 for track race (if it can be tuned)

    • Hmmm I can try that one, but not sure how soon it will be out

  • Deep Luck

Is there gonna be over 1000 cars like gt5 and gt6, cos there better be. the game will be shit if theres only like 250 cars

    • I forget how many total, but it should say in the top description

  • Adam Firkey

No old Muscle cars or JDM legends? No Iconic Supercars from the 80s to early 2000s? No massive trucks or slow jalopies to make Sleeper cars out of? Man, this list sucks.

    • Not everything is there yet. They probably have only announced the big player cars and will scatter in more normal cars later.

  • Stuart McQuilkie

No Supra? 😮 It’s not GT without a Supra!

    • I would assume a Supra would be in the game, but they haven’t officially said anything yet. These are just the currently confirmed cars, but more are added all the time.

      • Stuart McQuilkie

Please God, let there be a Supra!

    • EwBa

I believe the 97 is now in the game, sure this list is up to date?

      • Yes, it is. So is an older M3 that you asked about before. People comment at different times when cars may not have been included and have since been added to the game. I just updated the list today with the current latest Mercedes F1 car. Refresh if it isn’t showing.

        • EwBa

Yeah I saw that, but I was hoping for the E92 and E46. Aren’t we all excited that they’ve included the Honda Beat now? 😛

  • Jim Bob

    No g37 coupe / sedan,350,370z s14,…..tf

    • This is only the currently known list. Others can be added in the future.

    • Sander Kamp

I too think the car list is too short. Very few classical cars, very few JDM cars (as in 240X, 350Z, as you mentioned).

What I was also disappointed about, is the lack of Ferrari Vision GT cars (they have a ton of sketches which would work really well as a Vision GT), no special Lewis Hamilton cars (Zonda 760LH, I bet he has more (MV Agusta F4 LH?)) when he has his own section in Brand Central. Same goes for TAG Heuer; at least give them a Red Bull RB13 or Aston Valkyrie.

Yet there are loads of Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars, which make for good varied multiplayer races, but it highlights the lack of other cars even more.

Better hope DLC will be free…

      • Ferrari VGT and Lewis’ cars they can’t just add to the game. Ferrari needs to actually finish it first and Lewis owns his cars but not the rights to them. They’d have to still get copyright deals with all the companies. However, I’m pretty sure this game is all about prizes and continuation of the game. Meaning, they will have new cars and tracks added in time.

  • Xan

    No MR2, SARD MC8R , GT-ONE what the fuck.

    • They might not be released just yet. This is only the currently known cars.

  • Manuel Roje

    LANCER IX VIII VII ????

    • At the moment this isn’t the final list. This is only the known cars so far.

  • Zeth

Well these cars are exciting but where are the classics like honda civic eg or skyline r32 r33 r34
Or 350z or 370z will that be dlc?

    • Check back a bit later as I am adding the remaining cars to the list.

  • Lex 240

poor showroom, there are no cars like a good skyline or a clk gtr for example…

    • I’m sure they’ll be adding more. For example, there are currently no Lotus cars at all. However, in the test demo they had months ago there was one you could drive. I highly doubt they’d randomly take that car out for the real game.

    • EwBa

The R34 GT-R V-spec II Nür isn’t a “good” skyline? It’s the top production version of the top skyline!

  • ThatOne EJ1

should add the 92-95 honda civic coupes. 🙁

    • Yes, those would be good choices.

  • EwBa

No M3? No older Evos? Loads of supercars and hardly any of the everyday cars which made the previous games so good. Come on.

    • This game goes for more hardcore racing rather than fun. However, I agree, hopefully they’ll add more street cars in the future.

      • EwBa

It’s not that hardcore, certainly no more so than any other GT game. I find it quite forgiving in comparison to Project Cars 2, which is much more of a sim than GT sport. It also suffers from a lack of cars, but it takes itself far more seriously than GT. It’s nice to have both depending on the mood I’m in. But you’re right, it’s not as “fun” orientated as previous GTs. I’m sure they will add more. At least a couple of old skylines are still kicking around.
